Help us to make a playground and outdoor community space!

We the residents of Ward 17 – Davenport wish to develop a playground, garden and outdoor community space on the grounds of Loretto College School to help create a safer and healthier community. In order to make this happen, we request the Toronto Catholic District School Board (TCDSB) and City of Toronto come to an agreement to lease the space to the City.
Ward 17 has the least amount of parks and playgrounds in the entire City of Toronto. The Loretto College School grounds currently have a City-run wading pool that we want expanded to include more seating for our elderly, play and climbing structures for our young, creative spaces for our youth and gardens for everyone to enjoy together.
Residents have been lobbying for this since the original playground was removed 10 years ago. We believe this is an important election issue that must be addressed. Please sign our petition and help make Davenport a great place to live by encouraging an agreement between the City and TCDSB that will allow us to fundraise and build a playground, garden and seating areas on the south portion of the back lot running alongside the wading pool area at Loretto College School.
